Infrared sauna and detoxification

An infrared sauna can be an easy and quick way to rid your body of toxins. Everyday we are exposed to chemicals and pollution through the air we breath and the products we use. We are also exposed to unhealthy toxins in the foods we eat. Detoxifying our bodies with the use of an Infrared Sauna can help rid ourselves of harmful toxins that accumulate in our bodies everyday.

Allow yourself 30 to 40 minutes in the infrared sauna. Make sure to drink plenty of water before, during, and after your session. Make sure you don't have any creams on your body that will block your pores. If you have a hard time sweating that can mean that you have a lot of toxic build up in your body. Try a hot shower before your sauna session to induce sweating. Once you finish your session, replenish your body with electrolytes. Drink coconut water or replenish your body with a mineral supplement.

Using the infrared sauna at least once a week will help your body get back on track. Check the ingredients of your laundry detergent, shampoos and soaps. Oftentimes, these products contain harmful synthetics that are absorbed into the skin and can cause us harm in the long term. Try to buy organic fruits and vegetables; especially produce that is know to be sprayed with pesticides: celery, apples, cucumbers, grapes, hot peppers, imported nectarines, peaches, potatoes, strawberries, spinach, sweet bell peppers, kale/collard greens, summer squash, cherry tomatoes. Drink purified water, some of the best water you can drink is alkaline water. A water ionizer can both remove harmful contaminants in your water and ionize your water raising the PH so that it is more alkaline. An acidic body can have many detrimental effect to the body, raising the PH of your body will help boost your body's immune system.
